Quick Prep has been designed to maximize your fat burning potential while doing cardio or lifting weights.  Quick prep will give you more energy, increase your body temperature, transport more fat to working muscle tissue to be used as fuel, flush excess water out of your body, and balance you out so you don’t feel jittery from the increased stimulation.  Quick Prep also ensures you’re in an anabolic state by reducing cortisol and increasing your rate of protein synthesis. 2500mg - Essential and Conditionally Essential Amino Acids.
There are several studies that confirm the fat-burning benefits of a special class of essential amino acids called branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs): leucine, isoleucine, and valine. Â BCAAs are unique in that they are broken down in the muscle, compared to the liver where most other amino acids are broken down. Â Because of this, they are considered particularly important for energy production during exercise. Additionally, they are associated with improved muscle building and increased fat burn when used in accordance with a strategic nutrition and fitness plan. In one study, overweight women who took BCAA supplements while following a weight loss program lost more body fat and preserved more muscle mass than those who did not take the supplements. Â In two different studies, those who supplemented their diet with BCAAs lost more body fat than those who supplemented with other types of protein like soy and whey. Â More recent studies show that BCAA supplements alone can only take fat burning so far, and that all of the essential amino acids need to be consumed to boost the maximum amount of fat loss.
40mg – Gamma ButyrobetaineÂ
L-Carnitine is a naturally occurring amino acid derivative crucial for energy production. It transports long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria, where they are burned to produce energy. Â This transportation process is elevated during training and exercise as we try to convert more fatty acids into energy. Â Gamma-Butyrobetaine, is a precursor to L-Carnitine. It increases the body's natural production of L-Carnitine more effectively than direct L-Carnitine supplementation. By boosting L-Carnitine levels it enhances fat metabolism, increases energy production, and supports improved exercise performance. It also has thermogenic properties that boost metabolism and promote fat burning. The chemical reaction of Gamma Butyrobetaine into L-Carnitine is exothermic, meaning it releases heat, and this reaction causes the thermogenic effect in the body.
Taking GBB before cardio-based training will be best to capitalise on the effects of fat loss.Â
250mg – Sensoril® Ashwagandha
As a highly absorbable adaptogen, Sensoril® has been shown to help reduce the symptoms associated with adrenal fatigue such as stress, and burnout.  When stress levels rise, a stress hormone called cortisol is released.  Cortisol can cause an increase in appetite as well as promote fat storage.  Sensoril® also helps reduce post work out recovery time, which can influence how many times you can work out each week.  Sensoril® can cause an indirect increase in basal metabolic rate and metabolism overall.  This benefit is likely caused by the influence that Sensoril® has on muscle mass and various hormones such as thyroid and cortisol.  Studies have shown that Sensoril® can alter thyroid hormone concentrations in your serum. In one 8-week study, scientists found an increase in T4 by up to 23%.
200mg – Dandelion Root Extract 10:1
Dandelion extract will effectively help eliminate extra water weight due to its diuretic qualities.  But even beyond that, the root of a dandelion benefits the body by improving digestion and inhibiting the activity of lipase.  By inhibiting this enzyme, the body’s ability to absorb fat is reduced, which helps promote weight loss.  Some researchers also suggest that dandelion's ability to improve carbohydrate metabolism may lead to weight loss.
150mg - Caffeine Anhydrous
Studies show that caffeine can increase Resting Metabolic Rate by up to 11%, with most of the increase in metabolism caused by an increase in fat burning.  A 2019 review of 21 published meta-analyses suggests that caffeine can increase exercise performance by enhancing anaerobic power, aerobic endurance, and muscle endurance and strength. Data also show that caffeine’s positive effect on these performance markers is more pronounced during aerobic exercise sessions than during anaerobic exercise.  In another 2019 triple-blind, placebo-controlled study, results showed that acute caffeine ingestion 30 minutes before performing an aerobic exercise test increased maximum fat oxidation during exercise.Â
